Concerning the "is there anything specific that can be improved upon?" comment made by Amy. I try run as much Fog as possible to enhance our Light Shows. However, if too much Fog is used; it will affect the Photos that we & anyone else would take. As well, even though we use "premium", absolutely NON-TOXIC, Fog Juice; too much Fog may cause very, very minor coughing. NOTE FROM SCOTT

Definately let clients know that you can fill out the timeline...that is kind of scary (but very needed)! I think a few of the "must play list" didn't get played, but given this or the fireworks, I would've taken the fireworks! Overall, everything went very smoothly!

Overall, LHE made the night very memorable. Our guests were very pleased with the selection of music and involvement of the crowd. Scott can make "fireworks" happen!

Concerning the "is there anything specific that can be improved upon?" comment made by Jenny. 1st = Concerning the note about the Event Timeline, actually Jenny (with all due respect) I tell every Client that I will take care of the Timeline as details are updated through the Planning Form. I do so, as I can imagine that not being involved (as I do DAILY) with the Timeline; it may look a little intimidating. This is just because it is very detailed. 2nd = Concerning the note about the "Must Play" selections that I didn't play; you are right Jenny that the Fireworks (the City of Charleston re-scheduled the 4th of July Fireworks for this day) was very exciting & it did take about 25 minutes out of my ability to play your selections. In doing Wedding Receptions or any Event, sometimes things (PLANNING wise) don't go 100% as planned. It is how I would immediately respond to any given situation that differentiates me from other DJs / Entertainers. Jenny, if you can remember I did ask you whether or not you wanted the availability to have yourself, Justin, & your Guests to be able to enjoy the Fireworks & you said yes. As well, I did mentioned the situation with planning that would reuslt in a deviation from our Timeline. This would include the amount of music that I could play & flow of that music. However, I do sincerely apologize that all "Must Play" selections were not able to be played. NOTE FROM SCOTT

The other teachers at the dance thought that the dance was one of the best. The kids never seemed to become bored, in fact they had to ask kids to leave at midnight. We had onlu a select few students leave before the end of the dance. Some of the seniors thought that it was one of the best dances that they had gone to in their highschool career(except for prom which had a live band). Thanks for everything. Regarding the pictures. If I had been there I would have said no to the pictures on the internet. I am sorry about the confusion.

Scott has worked with us for three years now at a party for Safe Harbor, which is a program for mentally challenged and handicapped adults. Each year he has done a wonderful job. The clients enjoy him and feel they can go up and talk with him and ask for songs. And they love it when he calls their name as having won a prize. He has a great rapport with the clients and their families and makes everyone feel welcome and special.

We asked for a great party and that's exactly what Lighthouse provided. Our wedding reception was an absolute success with all of our guests and a memory we will cherrish for a lifetime. Lighthouse hung in with us the whole night ( 7 hours ) The dance floor never had an empty spot the whole evening. Lighthouse did a great job of playing what the crowd wanted to hear ! I would recommend Scott and his crew to anyone !

Concerning the "is there anything specific we can improve on?" comment made by Kim. Sometimes there are situations where some songs just won't fit with the mood or pace of the moment, in Events that I complete. I always try to play most of the songs that your Guests requests, but I can not guarantee all will be played. Either as mentioned above or maybe there isn't enough time. There are many, many factors that affect the music that I select. My ultimate goal is to provide the best "flow" of music, to enhance the overall reaction to your very Special Day. NOTE FROM SCOTT

We have never seen a DJ that was this good. We have had so many compliments about LHE that it is unreal. It turned out better than we anticipated. If we ever have any event that we need to entertain we will call LHE for our entertaining. You were wonderful.

Light House Entertainment far exceeded our expectations! We were a little skeptical at first because for one, we found this guy over the internet, and for two, we had never heard this guy before. But after he contacted us by phone (many times), our doubts faded and we truly felt good about our decision to hire Light House. It was the best decision we made about vendors for our wedding.

Concerning the "is there anything specific that can be improved upon?" comment made by Tiffany. I previously relied on our Library of music to be able to accommodate any and all Requests / Dedications (made specifically by our Clients for their events); in the past. Since this one and only situation that I had, where Tiffany wanted a song (UB40's -Red Red Wine) dedicated to a Guest. Unfortunately, the disc where the song was cataloged was scratched! We could not after all play this one dedicated song!

Therefore, I have started to make back-up copies of all Requests / Dedications, again made specifically by our Clients! This situation WILL NEVER occur again! NOTE FROM SCOTT

The only thing I can think of would be people at the reeption had trouble hearing you. Especially in the back.. Not really your fault because there aren't any ways to put speakers way in the back...

Concerning the "Is there anything specific that can be improved upon?" comment made by Erica. I actually learned quite a bit about working with an Event Venue the day of an event, as shown in this case. There were approximately (3) tables that were right beside of our equipment setup and I mentioned to the Event Venue Representative that there might be difficulty in acoustics (sound and levels), if these tables weren't moved (because to make levels sufficient I would have "blown away" guests sitting at these tables). They would not oblige in moving them and I didn't contact the Client (Erica Snyder), because she was getting married at the time. LHE will take every measure to ensure that we have absolute control of these situations, at events in the future! NOTE FROM SCOTT

I was at the Vallandingham wedding a week or so ago. I consider myself a music critic (most folks do). I am a firm believer that bad music makes for a bad wedding reception. You must also subscribe to that theory. Your music choices were on the money! I'm 48 and you played the hits that people can dance to. You played many classics that all generations can enjoy.

The volume was perfect. I hate to yell across a table. When the music is too loud I feel like I'm alone because I can not talk to anyone.

You did not talk too much nor try to be the center of attention. Mostly we were there to eat, drink and be merry. That is accomplished by lots of great music.

You did a great job.

Anytime you hire someone without having seen them in action, you take a chance. In this case, the chance we took turned out great!! Scott was very professional from day one. I made sure I sat down to hear the price because after talking with other disc jockeys, I didn't figure I had a chance. After the initial shock, I settled down and ask if the date was available. I had called pretty early so the date and time were okay. Now for the wait.

The day finally came and you and your staff arrived early for setup. The time had come to see if I had done a good job of choosing. Boy, did I ever! After seeing all the equipment I still thought this can't be. Not only was our chosen package great but your light show equipment was superb. You gave us just what we wanted and then some. I think you were born to be in this business.

It is with a great deal of confidence and pleasure that I sit to write this letter. Recently my wife and I hosted a summer barbeque at my home that over 250 people attended. Worried about entertainment for the event, I contacted Mr. Light and quickly realized that I had made the right choice.

His enthusiasm and zeal let me know that the party would be a success.
